Have you heard of the Pechoti Method? Until I started to research CBD oil, I never had. I am not a student of Ayurvedic medicine, but this delivery method for healing is relatively common around the world and sounds interesting to me. Think about all the people who can’t swallow pills, for example.
Those that practice Rasayana Ayuervedic medicine believe that you can massage CBD, essential, and other oils into and around the belly button to deliver healing to up to 70 million nerves, tissues, and organs in the body through the Pechoti gland.
So what is the Pechoti gland? The gland is part of the umbilical system that delivers nutrients to the fetus from their mother during pregnancy. The gland sits behind the belly button so it seems like a logical conclusion to make the “medicine” can be delivered this way.
Many cultures around the world use this delivery method to treat physical and psychological ailments. Some of the possible benefits of this delivery method for men and women are
- improve your eye-sight, eye dryness
- relieve joint pain
- gastro-intestinal issues
- acne, and
- skin puffiness and white spots.
Other oils that you can massage into your belly button are
- coconut and olive oil for winter dry skin and fertility
- almond oil for skin
- mustard oil for chapped lips
- clarified butter or ghee for skin, and
- castor oil for constipation.
You can place a cotton ball soaked in rubbing alcohol in your belly button for colds and runny noses.
You can place a cotton ball soaked in brandy in your belly button for menstrual cramps.
As with anything CBD, more research is needed. Make choices that are right for you.
